Learning Alliance School is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Debate Coach for Junior School to develop students’ public speaking, critical thinking, and confidence through structured debate training and activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Train junior students in debate, public speaking, and communication skills
• Plan and conduct regular debate sessions and practice activities
• Prepare students for inter-school competitions and events
• Develop age-appropriate debate material and lesson plans
• Encourage critical thinking, research, and articulation of ideas
• Provide constructive feedback to students for improvement
• Coordinate and organize in-house debate events and competitions
• Collaborate with teachers and school leadership for co-curricular planning

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Education, or related field
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in debate coaching, public speaking, or teaching
• Strong command of spoken and written English
• Experience in debating formats (e.g., parliamentary, declamation) preferred
• Passion for working with young students
