Learning Alliance is seeking a passionate, experienced, and dedicated English Language & Literature Teacher to join our team for IB Diploma Programme (DP1 & DP2). The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, and experience teaching the IB DP curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging English Language & Literature lessons aligned with the IB DP curriculum.
• Teach and support students in DP1 and DP2, preparing them for IB assessments and examinations.
• Develop students’ critical thinking, analytical, communication, and academic writing skills.
• Guide students in textual analysis, literary interpretation, and language studies.
• Prepare students for internal and external IB assessments, including the Individual Oral (IO) and written components.
• Monitor, assess, and record student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Support students in developing effective study, research, and examination strategies.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective curriculum planning and delivery.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, English Literature, Education, or a related field.
• Previous experience teaching IB Diploma Programme English Language & Literature is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of IB DP assessment requirements and curriculum framework.
• Excellent classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for literature, language, and developing students’ academic potential.
